Abstract: In response to the WHO′s expanded programme on immunization, Chinese Government had included 15 kinds of vaccines into the national immunization program since 2007. Under this background, this study compared and analyzed the actual situation of the national immunization programs at home and abroad currently and the disease burden of immunization programs worldwide vaccine-preventable diseases，and then discussed the necessity of further expanded programme on immunization, simultaneously made recommendations for public health decision-makers.
