Abstract: Feasibility of Indapamide Combined with Enalapril in the Treatment of Diabetes Mellitus Complicated with Hypertension#$NL#$NLZou Yanhui#$NL#$NL(Department of Cardiology, People"s Hospital of Jilin Province,Jilin Changchun 130021, China)#$NL#$NL: Objective: To analysis the clinical effects and feasibility of indapamide combined with enalapril in the treatment of diabetic with hypertension; Methods: A total of 70 cases in our hospital were divided into control group and observation group, Patients in the control group were treated with enalapril, and patients in the observation group were treated with indapamide. The level of blood glucose, serum potassium, blood pressure and effects were observed. Results: There are no significant difference on the level of blood potassium and blood glucose in the two groups(p>0.05). After treatment, the blood pressure in the observation group was lower than that of the control group, P < 0.05. The total effective rate was 85.71% in the observation group, and 65.71% in the control group. The differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Indapamide combined with enalapril has remarkable effect for the treatment of diabetes mellitus complicated with hypertension.
