Abstract: Objective：In order to understand the status of generic drug consistency evaluation and provide advice for promoting the quality improvement of generic drugs in China， the consistency of the quality and efficacy of generic drugs， the evaluation results of the progress of the basic situation of the drug， and the implementation of the linkage mechanism and relevant incentive policies were studied. Methods：The 289 catalogue was classified according to the "National Essential Drugs List". The query results were compared with the 2012 edition and the 2018 edition of the National Essential Drugs List by querying the "China Listed Drugs List"， and the relevant website policy implementation announcements were inquired. A comprehensive analysis of generic drug conformity assessment work. Results：Although the task of evaluating the consistency and quality of generic drugs in China has not been completed， great progress has been made. Conclusion：It is of great significance to intensify efforts to promote the consistency evaluation work in depth and to adjust industrial institutions to ensure the effectiveness of national drug safety.
