Abstract: To evaluate the effects of aripiprazone clozapine and risperidone on prolactin(PRL) and estradiol(E2) of schizophrenic patients. Methods： 120 schizophrenic patients were collected and divided into the risperidone group， clozapine group and aripiprazole group randomly， 40 cases in each group. Serum PRL level and E2 level were tested and measured before and after treatment for 8 weeks．Results：Before treatment， the PRL and E2 levels of the three groups had no significant differences (P>0.05). After receiving treatment for 8 weeks， serum PRL level increased significantly (P<0.01)， and serum E2 level decreased significantly (P<0.05) in risperidone group.There were no significant differences of serum PRL and E2 levels before and after treatment in clozapine group(P>0.05). The PRL level had no significant difference(P>0.05) before and after treatment， while the E2 level increased significantly (P<0.05) in aripiprazone group. Conclusion：Risperidone treatment can tend to increase serum PRL level and decrease E2 level of schizophrenic patients. Aripiprazone treatment induce a significant elevation of E2 level， while the PRL level has no significant difference before and after treatment. Clozapine has no significant effects on PRL and E2 levels of schizophrenic patients.
