Abstract: Objective： To establish an infrared spectroscopy（IR） method to identify the two components of artesunate and pyronaridine in Artesunate and Pyronaridine Tablets. Methods： Different solvents was used to extract and purify of artesunate and pyronaridine in Artesunate and Pyronaridine Tablets， and the infrared spectra of the two components were measured respectively. Results： After extracting and purifying of the Artesunate and Pyronaridine Tablets， the infrared absorption spectrum of artesunate is concordant with the spectrum obtained from artesunate RS or with the reference spectrum of artesunate. The infrared absorption spectrum of pyronaridine is concordant with the spectrum obtained from pyronaridine tetraphosphate RS. Conclusion： This method is simple and accurate. It can be used to identify the two components of artesunate and pyronaridine in Artesunate and Pyronaridine Tablets，which is conducive to the quality control．
